Default To Much Voltage I Need Help

I just finished my car and today was the first time I took it out for a meet. On my way there my cars voltage was at 15-17 volts and my check guages light was on. I have a spal 16" fan, twin 355 fuel pumps, and i use a injector controller. My alternator is stock, Should i replace it with a 200 amp alternator? or do i have a electrical problem somewhere? BTW my battery is in the rear and i have a cut off switch.

voltage regulator in the alternator might be going bad. It might also be that it is trying to keep up with with huge draw you are putting on it. I dont think it would hurt to upgragde the alternator with all those extra electronics you have going on there.
