I like Garmin Nuvi. The Garmin Nuvi 265WT is a good blend of price and features. I have a Garmin 680 which is an older model but basically the same thing as the 265WT.

Kenwood's double-din headunits use Garmin. Take a look at the Kenwood DNX5120, DNX6140, DNX7120, DNX8120:

I have a Pioneer AVIC-D3 in my car. Its out of production though.

Here is my install thread:

Yea they all pretty much fit, only problem is you have to modify the radio bezel to fit. Also they might not come with the right bracket because techically a double din isnt supposed to fit in our car. But if youd like one i have a Pioneer AVIC-D1 for sale.

Bad picture, sorry Lot's of finger prints and smudges on the bezel. It is painted high gloss black.

It looks 10x better, and there is less stuff to break. I also had a flip out one that would flipout and it covered the a/c controls(not an fbody) but it was a pita.

I'm sure it's possible, but I doubt it's worth the trouble.

In dash looks 100x's better than a flip out when done right. A DIN LCD screen adds a nice touch to the interior of almost any car if you ask me.

It is possible, the question is, do you want to take the time/effort/money to do it?

InfiniteReality's carputer is by far the cleanest install.

Its not a radio but it does play dvd and has gps.

Do you have to replace the speakers with one of these? Or will it sound good with the stock speakers?

^^^ ... um it will sound better than stock. I wouldnt quite label anything with stock speakers "good". Thats for the radio, if you mean the carputer either you need a new amp with RCA Ins or you will have to keep the stock radio with an aux in adapter hidden in back of dash.

theres a faq for changing dash bulbs to leds so you can make it match. also there prolly are kenwood specific adapters, if not the pac swix should make the controls work
