Default How do I get door panel off?

I have a door speaker rattling...How do I remove the driver's door panel to get to the speaker?

You dont have to take off the whole panel to get to the speaker

Yes you do, no way you are going to easily get the speaker out without removing the door panel. 3 long bolts on the arm rest, one bolt next to the door lever, unplug the harness behind the window, door lock buttons, and light, remove the manual door lock switch, remove the one screw from the triangular trim piece and remove, lift up on the door panel and then pull out. Its pretty easy.

try just prying the speaker cover off.there might be enough room to get the speaker out then

NO! Do NOT try to pry the door speaker cover off - you'll break it and have to buy a replacement door panel.

thats how i swapped the front speakers in my 98 z28.maybe the TA a little different

the speaker grill are glued on so you risk damaging them by trying to remove them.

um i changed my front door speakers without taking my door panels off, its harder but can be done.
