Default Stock CD Changer to Alpine IDA-X100

Is it possible to connect the stock CD changer to my Alpine IDA-X100? If so, how?

No.

There used to be an adapter to connect Alpine or Kenwood units to factory changers but they've been out of production for many years and I doubt that it would work with newer Alpine units even if you could still find one.

Why would you want to use CD's when you can rip them to MP3 and store
a thousand songs on a thumb drive?
I have the IDA-X200 (basically the same) and I will never use a CD again.
No skipping, no scratched CD's, MP3's can be bought for .15¢ or free,
customizable playlists and almost endless storage etc.
Sell the CD changer and get something to compliment the HU. IMO

However, in true high-end systems, the difference between MP3/MP4's and the actual disc are night and day difference. CD quality is still VASTLY superior!

OK. That's what I was afraid of I might sell it at some point and get the Alpine PXA-H100 to get the EQ feature. Thanks for your help!

One more question, is the pinout for the connector for the Monsoon head unit the same as for the 1996 and before "Premium Sound" connector?

In other words, if I wanted to swap my Alpine from my 1996 Firebird with the Premium system to my 2000 Formula with the Monsoon system? Thanks for your help!

Yes, those two use the same connector. The only systems between 88 and 02 that don't use that connector are the Camaro Bose systems.
