Default new fog lights, blown fuse

Replaced the old broken ones that i had. Hooked one up to test, it worked. Hooked them both up which resulted in a blown fuse. I didnt use the wiring mess that came with the package (didn't want more wires and wasted trouble on the switch) than I already have. I figured that it would be a straight swap as were my previous set.

Ok, question is do I need to use the wairing harness that came with it? Or can I just buy a new relay?

Thanks
