Default 400 amp alternator

i need a big alternator, will a truck unit fit my 98 z28

you could get two alternators
do they make one that is that big (400amps?)

Fosgate T40001BD, plus i made an amp rack with two more amp on top. my fuses add up to 700 amps, I have a optima red top battey and upgraded the big three to zero gauge wiring. When the bass hits my amps fall to about 8

Alterstart makes a 235 amp. I think thats about as big as it gets for our cars.

i seen a truck alternator u to 300, will a truck version fit my car?

Their alternators are usually a little over 300a. Ive never ever seen one dim from too much of a load.

You'd be better off with two alternators if you really think you need that much. Otherwise you're only going to be putting out decent current at like a billion RPM, and it will suck the rest of the time.

so do i add one of those ebay alternator relocation brackets and find a belt of what. does anyone have a dual setup i can see on our cars. or can i use a truck alternator bracket
