Default Knight Rider light connected to key fob?

Howdy,

I have this Knight Rider light hooked up on the front of the my ws6, anyway is there a way to have the Knight Rider light up with the other lights on the car when I hit the unlock on the key fob. You know when you hit the "unlock" button on the key fob the fog lights and running lights flash, well I want to have the Knight Rider light turn on and cycle one or twice as well.

Thanks,

So if I connect the power wire to the parking light wire, then buy some kind of relay for the timed pulse?

Yeah, but I forgot to mention, that this would also be activated whenever you've got your parking light/fog lamps on. While driving on the roads might get you into a bit of trouble.

What exactly is "channel 1 of BCM"? I've never seen an f-body BCM that has channels. Is this part of the switch to digital TV next month?

Perhaps he could splice it into the interior lights? They activate when the unlock is pressed but usually not on when driving, they will go on when the door is opened though

you know what I mean. When you hit your FOB to un/lock your door/s the module that sends an output to un/lock Maybe splicing to that output so it can send voltage to his lights?

Dimitri's idea sounds easier
