Default Cruise Control

My cruise control hasn't worked in a while and I want to make it operational again. Fuse has been checked and replaced. I don't remember when it stopped working but could my ABS INOP light have anything to do with it? Unfortunately I bought my 12 bolt with the wrong channel so my ABS won't work. Will that dissable the cruise control?

The cruise control will disengage (or fail to engage) if the ABS or TCS system has been active for two seconds so the two systems are definitely connected. The troubleshooting guide doesn't specifically mention ABS as a source of problems but I wouldn't be surprised if that's what's causing your problem.
