Default Speakers not working...

I just got a 99 Camaro SS with the monsoon stereo and the only speakers that get sound are the rear deck speakers. All the speakers are wired. The only thing i saw was that the previous owner bypassed the factory connector and hooked it straight up, but i dont see why that would be a problem. The wires that are bypassed are dark green, brown, tan, and dark blue. seems to be all the positive sides of the front and rear speakers. What else would cause no sound out of the speakers. Btw its a factory monsoon system, and there are no cracked in the foam or tears on any of the speakers.

Maybe he put the stock speakers back in with the stock wires, but didn't hook the wires back up?

How'd he make his wiring connections? Did he use butt connectors (or solder) on the HU side, and quick disconnect terminals or solder on the speaker side?

he used but connectors on the HU side and the factory speaker clip connections for the speakers.
