Default How is this setup?

I am replacing my factory speakers. I bought a set of Alpine components and i'm thinking of CDT's for the sail panel. I will keep the stock amp and remove the hatch speaker. Which sails shoudl i get CDT CL-6 or the CDT CL-6E? I do'nt need any special system just something that sounds decent and works.

Depends on your budget.....I'm not a big fan of CDT personally but either should do.

I want to keep it cheap i'm not into sound. So it sounds like i'm better off getting a set of the factory sail panel speakers over the low CDT's since they are not DVC and different ohm rating. Is that correct? I don't want to spend over $80 when I can just get replacement sails for $50

Don't forget to dynamat. Nothing helps the sound in these flimsy american cars with their thin sheet metal like some good sound deadner.

Factory speakers! The CL-6 is a midrange driver and NOT a DVC.

Here is a JBL 2 way for $73

are those JBL 2 way speakers subwoofers or coaxials? I want DVC subs so I was going to buy the Bazooka's from Keeaudio but for the price I could just buy those JBL's if they are subs

The JBL are a 2way coaxial speaker. NOt a DVC sub. The CDT CL-6 you talked about is a midrange 4 ohm driver NOT a DVC sub either.

Got it I knew the CDT speaker was not something I wanted. I want to replace them with a sub.
