Default My 8 speaker "Monsoon" system is F*CKED!

Anyone ever buy a car where the stereo wiring is so fucked up that you have to completely re-wire your own system? I think I'm about to do my own wiring and take out as much of the factory stuff as possible. I'll probably even go as far as to color each wire it's own color (red, black, blue, green, purple, white, gray, etc...)

This is just ridiculous. Now I have to go buy a head unit...

These camaros come apart easy. I'd rather do the extra work to make it all work right.

The Monsoon system was f*cked from the start....

Leave the stock wires and just run new ones and do it all right. Your own amp, good speakers, etc. Though leave the hatch speakers unplugged (or remove them). Don't bother replacing them.
