Hooked up isimple only getting beeps

Hooked up isimple only getting beeps Like the title says, I Bought an isimple the other day and hooked it up using the gm1 harness, I left the changer unplugged, set the 3 and 8 switches to on and when I plugged my ipod up it would charge and I could change tracks and everything with my steering wheel controls but the only sound coming out of the speakers were beeps. Does anyone have any suggestions?
