Default Stereo turning off and on

For the past couple of months my stereo has been acting up. I will be crusing around and out of nowhere my stereo will shut off and restart itself. After it restarts it will be fine for a few seconds and shut off and restart, it does it about two or three times and then it will be fine for awhile. I had a Clarion for awhile before it broke and had no problems with it, but about 2 years ago I bought the Alpine CDA-9886. The Alpine worked great but only until a few months ago when it would shut off and restart. Anyone have any ideas what it could be?

Do your power windows stop working at the same time the radio cuts out? If so, you probably have a problem with the RAP circuit in your BCM. There is a thread here on repairing the broken solder joints in the BCM to fix this problem.

And the solder points you need to reheat (the OP of the thread removed everything hence why I reposted the picture)
