well my mom asked me to fix her friends 93 saturn sl2 the other day. her friends husband didnt know what he was doing when he put in a new alternator and starter. (they couldnt figure out why the car would stop running after about 5 mins....alternator wasnt hooked up) I've got the alternator working fine its just the starter now. it will start fine but sometimes it will make a loud buzzing noise when it starts. kinda like its still trying to start after it is already started. I think its the wiring but I'm not sure. the starter has three posts. 2 big one small. If I try to put it on the other big post it tries to start. I think the small one is the ignition. So I came to you guys. I made a diagram to show you what I see. Is it wired correctly?
