line output converter HELP!!

line output converter HELP!! ive gotten everything in my car but this. i tried wiring it to the right and left rear stock "subs". the way i wired it is before the stock amp. i picked the correct wires from the bunch that goes to the stock amp and cut them. then put them to the line output so the 2 rear stock subs dont go to the stock amp anymore, they go to the new one. still cant get it to work. does this sound right?
