Question 94 z28 car beeper

well my beeper is in its last days and starting to malfunction so i was wondering if the beepers that ebay sells work and what do i have to do to program one....

well you know... the car beeper, the one you take with your keys, its pretty banged up

You mean your "key fob" or "remote" (mine has never beeped)? Yes, you can buy them on eBay - just make sure you get the same model as the one you're replacing. They will usually list the part number that is molded into the casing so that you can be sure to get the right one.

Oh yes, you have to program it but that part is easy. The instructions are in your owner's manual (if you have one) and are also posted somewhere in this forum. A search for "program remote" should come up with the instructions.
