Kicker CVR is an ok sub but there are better for that price.
I have:
CDT EF-100 subs on sale for $89.00 which is $60.00 off.
JBL GTO1014: 10" $104.00
Infinity 1062W 10" $99.00
Just got RE Audio/US Amps back today and will have pricing on those in a few hours. I also picked up Kicker and several others. I will let everyone know what I picked up with this new distributor today.

i haven't been too thrilled with kickers. they are ok for boom, but they dont sound tight and crisp to me.

how about the elemental design?

they have one for $70 that at least on their site gets really good reviews.

its really hard to go off of internet reviews. What they consider "hard and crisp" might not be what you consider "hard and crisp". i always try to listen to what the more experienced guys have to say, from this forum, and others i know have been in the speaker world longer.

I used a Type S, a Type R, and a Kicker CVR in mine. The Type-R hit the hardest but the Kicker CVR sounded the best and was actually pretty impressive with how well it hit too. It was my favorite overall.

Can't go wrong with a Kicker CVR. I've got 2 and i've had them forever, still sound good as day one.

So would the RE Audio sub sound better than a CDT or ED sub in a stealth enclosure?

i'll always go with JL. even if you have to pay a bit over 100. solid, clean, tight.. and normally made for small, sealed enclosures.
