Default Wiring A/F gauge

Trying to wire my air fuel ratio gauge up. It's just a narrowband, I need to know which wire to tap into to get a signal for it.

p.s. I know widebands are better..

Thanks for any help

purple wire. But have fun having a pointless gauge.

A/F gauge should only be setup via wideband.

Yes i know its useless. I got it for free. That's why i stated in the first post i know widebands are better. Which purple wire is it? There are like 7 that are going into the pcm.

Sorry I should have been more clear. You need to tap into the purple wire coming off an 02 sensor.

Is there a certain place in the engine bay with wire is running that i could tap into, and does it matter how close to the 02 you tap the wire in?

You will have the least amount of resistance closest to the 02 sensor. However, the gauge will still be completely inaccurate unless WOT. I would just send a wire down there if you're persistent on using the narrowband.

Why not sell the narrowband and put the money towards a wideband?

dunno in his case but mine....i just spent 5 gino in h/c/i, and n2o....and narrow band in conjuction to my nitrous controller works great due to the fact it also acts as a set point for a a/f lean cut out...so its not soooo pointless

That's why I hate them setup narrowband. The fireworks display is sooo friggin annoying. Even at WOT it's not completely accurate.
