Default Door speakers

I want to replace the door speakers on my '99 ta. when l look to see how they are wired, I see the tweeter has 2 wires and the 6 inch has to wires factroy.
I had new speaker installed years ago--- and they cut one set of wires and did not hook them to any thing......installed a crossover on the other 2 wires from the radio, than from the crossover to the tweeter and 6 inch, this just dozen't seem right and sounded like crap. How do I use the Mosoon system to make this right with new componet speakers. Most likey the new speakers will have a crossover also.how do you hook this-up?

I think the woofer wires are actually full range and the tweeter wires have a highpass. Cheap speakers usually run woofers full range and just add in the tweeter as well at higher ranges.
