Wiring TCS Switch
Here goes.. I installed a 98 Center Console in my wifes Firehawk because she wanted better cup holders.. The question I have is my Wifes car has a performance Transmission shift switch and I was thinking of useing the stock TCS that the 98 console came with for the Trans shift switch.. Has anyone done this before?
I am looking for a wire diagram for the TCS and the 95 Tranny Shift switch.

Sorry to hijack but i was curious about using the tcs harness to power my autometer electric gauge for my trans temp. Should I tap into the brown wire since its wired into the ignition? my car doesnt have tcs and I mounted the gauge right next to the cigarette lighter or should I look for another power wire?

Toooo Complicated. I soldered a wire to each side of the switch A & F i think then soldered these to the contacts on my remote. I left the battery in the remote as the power supply and just placed it on top of my radio. In a couple of years when the battery dies, I can just pull the front panel off and replace the battery. Works Great!!

I found out that the ignition wire to my tcs swith was pink, so i used a tab a ran that into my gauge. i didnt have my battery hooked up to test for awhile since my tranny was out but that was the wire that got out when the ignition was on. Havent got the tranny hot enough to test the gauge. It jumps right to 100 on the gauge when it has power, Im assuming that means the gauge has power to make it work. well see after a few road tests
