Default Flashing lights

So I know the problem is a short somewhere, but before I start tearing my interior apart, maybe someone on here could shed some light on the issue...
whenever I go over a decent sized bump -specifically the rear wheels-, when the tire drops down into, over it etc, the lights come for a split second then 'cool' back down over a couple seconds. If I go over multiple bumps, there are multiple flashes.
Maybe a door switch?

Happened to me once when my hatch wasn't fully latched. Might be something to check..

That happened with my hatch not fully latched as well.

If it is fully latched, but it still does it, I'd suspect either the latch isn't holding it tightly enough or the latch switch is acting up.
