Default what wire? reverse signal for back up camera.
what wire do i tap into? its a pioneer avh-p4000dvd if that matters. and its a 6 speed car.

Connect the violet/white wire to the power side of one of the backup lights. The power side of the backup light is the light green wire (black is the ground).
