Indash seems to be locked.?

Indash seems to be locked.? i have a clarion vz409 7inch indash radio and was working fine till i replaced my car battery and now all i have on the screen is just a lock wont let me do anything,
any one else has had this problem or will i have to call clarion to help me unlock it,

I just had the EXACT same problem, and 5 hours searching on the web got me nowhere. I set the lockout code, but it will not unlock, and now its locked up. then I called clarion. Turn the deck on with the screen out, then hold the power and play button to bring back up the password screen. Default is 0000 but if that does not work, enter 4356 and it will Unlock!

Have tried to hold the power and play button but still showing password lock screen and am unable to get it to where I can try password again.... Please help!!! Any advise???
