Default HIDs in Fogs, now radio signal sucks?

So i put HIDs in my fog lights last week, they look great and im very happy with them. But i have noticed that if i have the fogs on, i get crappy radio signal. As soon as i turn them on, radio gets a lot of static, as soon as i turn them off, static goes away. I have HIDs in my lowbeams, and i dont have this issue with those, its only the fogs. This is also only when listening to the radio, CD or Ipod hooked up and everything soudns good.

Im really puzzled by this, and honestly i dont kow where to start trouble shooting to fix the problem. Any help would be awesome.
THanks.

thanks for the link, good info. Going to have to go home and do some trial by error and try and find a fix.

Interesting.... I can here a slight whine in the speakers when I first kick my headlights on but it goes away in a few seconds after the HIDs warm up. I'm using Xentec digital ballast HIDs. Was thinking of going HID in my fogs too, but with DDM this time. Maybe I shouldn't...?

i have DDM in my lows, have had them since christmas. I just put the DDMs in my fogs about a month ago. i had ZERO whine until i installed them in my fogs. Im just going to have to take some time and mess around with different ideas until i find something that works.

Are you using a relay harness or just the stock harness to the ballasts?
