Can a monsoon w/cassette be swapped to monsoon w/ cd ? Plug in?

Yes...I think it's covered in the FAQ's.
All of the '97-'02 HU's are interchangeable, but there are a few differences. The '97-'99 HU's are a dark gray and the '00-'02's are black. The '97-'99 CD HU's won't control the changer, but all cassette HU's will. The '00-'02 CD HU's will control the stock changer. I have a '98 with stock changer, so I ended up buying an '02 CD HU and swapping a '98 CD HU's face on it so I could match my interior and still control my stock changer.
