HELP:Stock Alarm Keeps Going Off WHY?

Question HELP:Stock Alarm Keeps Going Off WHY?

ok guys for the past few weeks my 02 ss's car alarm has been going off at different times i thought it was the neighbors cat but i have yet to see anything around the car when it goes off that could make the alarm go off. infact its 2am here and it just went off and woke me up so now i am here writing this. is there anything that can make them malfunction or anything like that? this is getting annoying someone help...

This has been discussed dozens (if not hundreds) of times. Your shock sensor is causing the problem. Unplug it and the false alarms will stop. They fail because of moisture and sometimes you can fix them by taking them apart and cleaning/drying (compressed air and alcohol) the circuit board. Often they are beyond repair so you can either live without impact triggering of the alarm or replace the sensor with a new one.
