Default Air bag question???

I want to disconnect my air bags and i was wondering if i can do this by just pulling the fuse or do i need to disconnect the wires going to the sensor under the console also?

First... why on earth would you want to disconnect a safety device like that?

Removing the fuse is not the recommended way to disable the airbags but it will work - although you will be left with the airbag light in your instrument cluster on all the time. Wait at least 15 minutes after removing the fuse before taking the steering column or dash pad apart because the system can retain enough charge to deploy for about that long.

The reason i want to disable them is cause my car is being built as a drag car with almost no street use and i will leave them in, in case i do want to sell the car later on. I just want to disable them while i own the car cause i dont want them going off for any reason and i am not a big fan of air bags anyways.
