Trunk wont pop

Default Trunk wont pop

After having a blown fuse for my courtesy lights go, I removed and replaced that guy then later that night I noticed my trunk wont pop with the button or the key fob. I can hear the button make noise when its pressed also when I press the button on the key fob. Trunk just wont open electrically???????

What happens if you pull up on the hatch while you pop it? Your latch spring or struts or both could be shot.

No it wont electrically pop, it opens fine with the key.

Make sure your connections on are intact on the hatch realease machanism.

Check your PWR ACCY fuse. The COURTESY fuse protects the coil side of the hatch release relay through the BCM but it's the PWR ACCY fuse that actually powers the release mechanism.
