Default fog light question

so the other day my fog lights went out, both at the same time. i figured it was the bulbs coincidentally going out at the same time. put a new one in and didnt work. put the horn relay in the fog lights relay spot, still didnt work. i dont know much about electrical stuff and this has got me very frustrated. please help.

thanks,
chandler

Bulbs don't burn out at the same time. Each foglight has it's own ground, so that's not it either.

I would check for 12V on the purple wires at the lights. If no, check the fog switch. With the parking lights on, you should have 12v at the brown wire. With the fog light switch on, you should have 12v at the yellow wire also. If you don't, you need a new switch.
