Default 98 Camaro V6 dash into a 95 Z28 LT1

I want to buy this 95 Camaro Z28 it runs great im getting the car for a steal it is a hard top im not ba fan of the hard top or converible but its a great deal plus my brother can do the hard top to ttop conversion so im good it has a Lt1 V8 I don't like how the 93-96 Camaro dash looks so I want to swap the 98-02 dash into the 95 Z my friend has the 98 V6 car he put a LS1 in it so he gave me the entire dash electronics, cluster & all what else do I need to make it work in the 95 Z28? I just want to use the 95 as a daily driver by the way

I'd spend the money on punctuation keys for your keyboard.

i would imagine you would need the wireing harness to go with the newer setup. The gauge cluster is a completely different design.

@ ls1 121 Yeah I have the entire 98 dash(cluster,hvac controls,radio,wire harness) like I said before my friend is putting a wire harness & computer from a LS1 in the 98 v6 body but I have the 98 V6 wire harness,and I also have access to a 97 Z28 LT1 v8 cluster,wire harness & computer,should I just use the 97 wire harness,cluster & maybe the computer being that those parts are from a LT1 V8?

Well 1998 was a unique year for the Camaro as far as the electronics go, I don't know if the 97 stuff is any good. You need to get the wiring diagran for your car and one for the the doner car and make sure where you plug in the harness the pinout is the same, and then you need to look at all of the sending units in the engine to make sure they will match up to the 98 stuff. This ia s Big job, there is more to it than meets the eye.

Secondly as far as WhiteBird00 goes with the comment??? I think smart *** might have been a better choice of words because from what I read and I read a lot he is the Guru in this section and will definetly need his assistance with thids kind of project. Wish I could help more but this is over my head.
