security light with aftermarket radio

security light with aftermarket radio should the security light be staying on with a aftermarket radio, the light has been on since i got the car and previous owner said it was because of the radio, if thats the case can it be turned off?

radio ? I dont think that has anything to do with the radio , I have an aftermarket radio and never had such a problem.. the only time my security light went on was because of the VATS..
