driver side kick panel removal

Default driver side kick panel removal

i have a 94 Trans am thats an automatic and tryin to remove the driver side kick panel to run speaker wires to the driver side door. i cant seem to get it loose and it feels like its getting caught or not coming loose from the foot rest area/portion of the kick panel. anyone got any tips for removing it? i got the passengers side off with no problem. just cant get the drivers off

the passenger side has four screws and the drivers side has five so maybe check in the middle of the grooves on the foot rest for that fifth screw?

Just had mine out and in tonight, there are 5 screws like said, one in the middle of the foot rest. You can get the screw out and back in by the seat recline lever with a ofset phillips. If you dont have one it might be a bitch, or have to remove your seat.

Gettign the screw holes lined back up going back on was a PITA.
