silverado radio question

silverado radio question are all the radio's that come in the 03-07 silverados satelite radio ready? i found this truck at a junk yard that has the radio in it and it's in perfect condition and i would like to get it for my truck but only if it can get satelite radio, and also does anyone know if the 03-07 year model radios just plug and play with the 99-02 silverado's cause mine is a 02. any help would be appreciated. i know that i would have to get the antenna. thanks in advance.

I looked into this a few months ago, was going to put an 03-07 in my 2000 silverado. Pretty sure the the plugs are different.....find a pic of an aftermarket wiring harness for an 03-07 and then compare it to yours. I think the newer radios are bigger than a din 1/2, but not quite a double din.
