Default Hooking up amp and subs

So I have 2 12s and an amp to hook up. I have factory monsoon amp and HU. Is a line level converter the only thing I need? The amp is trimode capable (simultaneous bridged and stereo) so should I bridge them or run them on seperate channels?
Also, if I bridge them, how do I wire that?

yes the line level converter is all you technically need but, i just got done trying that the sound isnt very clear. the bass dosent get transfered very clearly. you can try it but i ended up going up with a head unit as well.

You dont need any more than 16 guage thats what i run full power, doesnt over heat, melt, or anything. Go with 16 guage.
