Question polishing hu?

Does anyone know how I could go about polishing my sony head unit (clear plastic face)??? It has been scratched (swirled) as I put it in the hu case w/ the usb cable, it is the cable ends that scratched it

Thanks for any help guys.

Well I think I fixed it! I just used some scratch wax (for fine scratches) and microfibre cloth seemed to fix it all up. Shiny now

That's it. You just need a light polishing compound for plastics. If you still have some roughness, you may try rubbing with a cloth with rubbing alcohol on it. The alcohol is a solvent, which dissolves the top layer of most plastics giving you a shiny finish. (In some applications.)
