Default Quick question for HID Light owners

Did you guys relay your ballasts or run them clean off the harness?

The last one I did, I relayed the ballasts. Just seemed like a better idea.

But, I found a complete HID kit laying around my house from one of the Hondas I parted and I don't have a relay around.

I tested it straight with a few cycles and it seems fine.

I bought the relay harness to for mine since my car is an 87...the wiring was questionable on the car and it was recommended to buy the harness to.

No relays for me either, ran straight from the harness. I have hids in the headlights and fogs. I've had them for almost 3 yrs now and i had to replace 1 of the ballasts.

I wanna know how are people mounting them so they dont move? that stupid double sided tape doesn't work out in this Vegas heat.
