Default Window issue

So I am just wondering if I should just do the motor, or if it's just a regulator, or what the heck is going on in my window, because I haven't done any window or door panel stuff in a few years (since my old grand am = no fun).

Basically, my passenger window will roll down just fine, but when I go to roll it up, it goes only about 75% and stops. Now if I leave the car running (turned off, it takes FOREVER) I can wait about 30 seconds and it will work again but only go up another 5-10%, then wait another 30 sec, and it will finally go up all the way.

Anyone had this issue?

Classic thermal cutoff switch failure in the motor. The whole motor needs to be replaced. Go with the Dorman design part and you should be trouble free for a long time.

I replaced my driverside motor week before last and I dont think it ever went up or down so fast. Makes my passengerside seem like it's hardly moving and it was the fast one
