So I am trying to wire up this thing... and it seems pretty easy, but I am getting no LEDs at all...

I've checked the following:

- Multimeter to the ASWC harness red/black pins shows +12V when ignition is on.
- Multimeter diode test on the ASWC board itself shows that the LED itself works
- ASWC wired to proper pin 14 in factory harness (although I think even without this I should still get an LED??)

Basically I am pretty sure the unit is just dead. Anyone have any ideas?

ground is fine... it is grounded to the same ground as the head unit itself, which works fine.

and like i said, tested +12V on the harness for the unit itself, that was red/ignition/acc to black/ground in the harness.

Update: Got my new ASWC from Amazon today, this one worked fine first try.

Was just a dead unit.

Can anyone help me with what wire(s) to tap into with the metra axxess? I just bought one & it should arrive tomorrow. It's for a 2001 WS6

You basically need switched power, ground, and Pin 14 from the radio harness. I think its dark blue.

The power and ground you can get from really anywhere. Look up the harness diagram to identify pin 14.
