Default rebuilt alternator

Do you guys think a rebuilt truck alternator (5.3 from an escalade or denali) would be worth the cost for my 2002 t/a? some guys have problems with their rebuilt but if its already bigger than stock, it will at least put out more than stock, right?

O rielys has them with a lifetime warranty for $150 and some 0 gauge wire should do the trick.

I'm running an '03 Escalade alternator. $69 (picked for me) from the local salvage yard. Works great so far, bolted right in.

get one from a salvage yard. It will probably last you as long as the rebuilt one and at a fraction of the cost.

try powerbastards as well, if you're looking to spend what the qualitypowerauto is asking.
