I have a kicker, good quality. Not really impressed with infinity subs.

What enclosure? How much volume (cubic feet)? Ported or sealed? How much mounting depth available? What will you drive it with? Are you looking for tight (SQ) or loud (SPL) bass?

I've been running dual 4 ohm Kicker Comp 8" subs in a custom enclosure from my old Wrangler. I have a 1200 watt Soundstream SSL powering it and they have been great for several years! Here's a shot of the setup - not mounted in the car. It fits almost perfectly side to side by front to back there are a few inches of space left:

FWIW, I have a CDT 10' carbon fiber sub and it sounds really good. Given I don't have anything to compare it too but it does sound good.

Dayton Reference will have better SQ than absolutely anything else mentioned here.

Massive Audio TW-10 is a nice sub as well. Much better performance then Kicker, Rockford, etc.
If is at Best Buys and you get one for free when you buy it....rest assured you get what you pay for.
The above mentioned Dayton Reference 10 is a great sub for the money as well.

How you been Rage?? Long time no see.

Oh, pretty good, I suppose. Been working on the audio in my G8... my Fi Q12 died, so I'm subless until I can afford something better. Still holding down the fort over here, I see.

Love the G8, my buddy has one. Nice car to say the least.
You killed the Fi, that is a surprise. Great sub, all though you have had it awhile.
I've been playing with Massive alot lately, cool subs and amps. I was quite surprised actually by the amount of performance for the cost.
Still here trying to help people out! If there is anything I can do for you let me know. I would be happy to help if I can.
