Default volume button on steering wheel only works sometimes

I have an aftermarket radio with a pac controller . Everything was programmed correctly and works fine . But every now and then it doesn't work on my steering wheel . ALL the other buttons work every time . Anythoughts ?

I have the same issue, sometimes they work sometimes they won't. I'm looking for a different Brand Unit, maybe the PAC is a piece of ****?

I would assume the controller. The buttons rarely go out.

Sorry no more help. I have zero experience with the controllers so that is purely assumption.

I've had this happen with my swi-jack.
Try reprogramming it.

I switched the buttons nothing, I switched the wiring harness to the buttons nothing. I took the radio out moved the plug from the PAC to the radio and that did it. My answer was the plug in the back of the radio.

Did you check the plug on the back of the radio to your controller?

VERY NICE Great Success High Five ( Borat voice )

I fixed my controller . For some reason it was getting tucked away in the back near the glove box. So I taped it to the top of my radio and it works 100% of the time EVERY TIME

Mine was working great for over a year, now the Volume Up steering wheel button only works intermittently. I haven't messed with the stereo in quite some time so it's nothing that I could have accidentally done to cause this. I've got a PAC module and an aftermarket Pioneer headunit.

Anyone have a fix for this??
