Default Disable factory alarm? drains battery?
My car (99 TransAm) sits for weeks at a time and im guessing it is the factory alarm that drains the battery. Is there a way to disable/shut it off and still have the keyless entry work?

The instructions for programming the alarm are in your owner's manual and a copy is posted here.
