Default k40 undetectable radar detector

has anyone every tried the k40 radar detectors? if so how did they do for you?

im curious since i was able to snag one off a used car at work the other day. seeing if it would be worth using on the TA. i got everything with it including a jammer and warning pods.

if it was free, hook it up. I liked them when I was an installer. Price was just nuts.

yup it was free for the most part lol had to buy a guy lunch tho for helping me track down all the wiring and parts. looks pretty easy to install from going off an online wiring diagram.
got any tips?

Pick the spot you want the main brain. then run all your cabling to it. Also pick a good spot for the display that works for you.
