Default Identify this custom sub box

Just bought a sub and the guy threw in this box with it, it looks like it goes in some kind of truck. Anyone ever seen one like it or know what vehicle this is made for?

It's definitely for your front door steps. Plays music while people wait for you to answer the door.

Haha maybe that's what I'll end up using it for! I checked subthump and it's not even close to anything they offer... it's so unique it's got to be made vehicle specific.

Almost looks like it fits over a wheel well or something, but the back of it is just weird.

To me it looks like it would go over the top of a center console with the sub pointing at the front dash (or out the back maybe) in like a truck or SUV type application.
Maybe even replacing the entire center console and pointing up.
It is odd but seems to be nicely built.

Yeah it's really nice, the inside is coated as well. I might hang onto it and do something crazy with it... like you said have it as a center console or something, that would be cool.

This is a stretch, but maybe between the seats like the stock Viper system?

I could see that as well depending on depth behind the seats.
