Default LED woes

HELP! I replaced the DRLs with LEDs along with replacing the old corroded bulb sockets with new ones but for some reason the passenger side LED will only light up when the headlight switch is in the fog light position or in the headlight position. The driver side works perfectly though . Any thoughts on why this is happening? Car is a 98 Trans Am btw

One thing I have run into with some dual-filament LED replacement bulbs is that they are polarity sensitive. I know they shouldn't be but I have found that turning them around and plugging in the other way sometimes solves the problem.

Other than that, you'll have to get out your test light or multimeter and check the socket for power and ground then work your way back from there.

Have you tried swapping the LED bulbs left to right? It's possible you got a single "filament" (i.e. 3156) bulb in the right side instead of the proper dual "filament" 3157. It's hard to tell with LED bulbs because you can't see the individual filaments like you can with an ordinary bulb. If the problem changes sides when you swap the bulbs, that may be the cause.
