While driving or sitting still my radio will cut on and off. When my radio goes out so does the power doors and windows. Its a really frustrating problem. Ive been told it was caused by poor soldering on the Body Control Module. Anyone else have an idea?

Also does anyone know a good place to order new tail light housings? And front blinker light housings.

1. Read the FAQ.

2. Don't bother with 'new.' Get used parts from Ebay or your local junkyard.

Most like likely is a solder issue which you can fix yourself for free if you have a soldering iron and some basic hand tools.

Check out these threads:
https://ls1tech.com/forums/stereo-el...der-issue.html
https://ls1tech.com/forums/general-l...blems-fix.html

Images appear to be missing from the first page of "The Fix" thread, but you can see a pic of the BCM and the affected solder points circled in the other thread above.

You'll find more if you search for "BCM solder", but these pretty much cover it.
