Default Power On Relay???

I have a 1997 ss car w/53,000 miles on it. I have a new problem with starting the car. I go to turn the car on and it starts and then shuts off imediatley. At this point there is no power for a momment. I here a click and then power on and its try again. This doesnt happen all the time but seems to be getting worse. My thought is the power on relay. This is my 4th 4th gen and have never had this issue but had a 97 that ate ignition swithches. Can anyone tell me the location of this relay?

Does this happen when the cylinder "springs" back after you turn the ignition? If so, the problem could be in the steering column.
