I have a 2002 Z28 and I was thinking what would sound better in the Z28 10's or 12's. I want a sound people can hear from a good ways and still hit hard inside the car. Witch size would work best in the Z28.

depends on what you want tight hitting or more rumble 10 are tighter but 12 do have more rumbl.I have 2 jl 10w6s in the back of mine with punch 800 and it rattles my brain,so I guess it depends on your tastes because both are loud.

A flyer I saw at the last IASCA world finals said it best...I dont know the number so I will make it up...but it said....the reason there are 600,000 different brands of speakers in the world is because at least one person thinks they are the best. Point being, you really just need to listen to some and find out what you like for yourself. Everybody has different tolerances for sound waves.

The good setup can make even a bad set of woofers sound decent. I have 2 L7 12's with 2000 watts rms on them and they will pound your brains out. They also sound very clean and tight because they are in a sturdy, completely sealed box built to specs. If you want loud, go with the 12's.
