I used to be a die hard Optima fan. In the last year I have had brand new red top and yellow tops go bad in my camaro and avalanche. I haven't started my camaro in about a month as I have been very busy with work. Car sits in garage, doors and windows closed, with nothing armed (alarm wise). I have just ordered the Ctek 7002, but I am looking for other opinions on batteries. Before i changed to an Optima I had an Interstate in the car, but I am looking to see if anyone has other options they prefer. In my previous camaro and my first yellow top in my truck, they lasted on average 5-6 years. Now 1 year and I have replaced the truck and now replacing camaro batteries. I am done with Optima, absolute garbage since they started production in Mexico.
