CD Changer bracket okay for amplifier ground?

I removed my 12 disc changer to make room for a compact JL amp and sub box. On the little shelf, left side of the hatch well where the changer was secured there is a mettle bracket sticking up through the carpet with a hole in it. This looks like a clean/convenient place for a ground wire.. Would this be acceptable?

Absolutely not.
I recommend pulling the trim back there off and using one of the upper seatbelt attachment bolts after scraping off some paint. You will need a large terminal ring, like 3/8" I believe it was. Use dielectric grease and/or battery terminal sealant afterwards.
Perhaps someone might know of an even better option, but that one I mentioned is MUCH better than what you mentioned.
